We reached this part of the island and enjoyed the white sand beach. It is again surrounded by the green mountains adding beauty and elegance to the scenery.
It is also the best place to hang out and wait for the sun to set. Just don't forget to bring your cameras and take that breath-taking view of the impeccable sky and see the glory of the sun while it sets into the waters.
THE SOUND OF ANAWANGIN COVE PINE TREES
Anawangin Cove is studded with pine trees that sway with the wind. They serve as shelter and refuge for the campers. You will hear the strange sound, something like a gushing wind or a storm closing in to the island... which will give you goosebumps at first. My friends and I kept looking around wondering what the sound was, but after a while, you'll just get used to it. The sound of the pine trees dancing and gliding with each other will reverberate until evening... well until there is strong wind, you will keep hearing them sing. It's a humbling experience on how nature can just quiet your heart and silence your spirit, earning your respect for their voices.
You will discover the creek if you head west of the camp site. Honestly, having seen the creek reminded me of the Marlboro Country commercial. :) The green mountains stand like walls protecting this natural environment. It looks so peaceful. It's better to just take off your sandals and walk barefoot in the waters. The smooth and soft feeling of the creek bed is weird but exciting. We went there around 4PM, before sunset. It is also the best place to hang out and wait for the sun to set.
